The City Of World Famous Baba Bholenath. One Of The Twelve Jyotirlingas Is Situated Here. The Same Kashi Vishwanath Temple Is Also There In Chhattisgarh Which Is Associated With The Deep Faith Of The People. Baba’s Special Makeup Is Done Every Year In The Month Of Sawan In Kashi City, Situated In Navagaon Of Arang, 19 Km From The Capital Raipur. On Coming Here, You Will Feel As If You Have Come To See Baba Bholenath, The Holy Land Of Kashi.
Here, visitors can see the beautiful statues of Shiva Lingam, Ganesha, Nandi Naagdev etc …
Beginning Of The Month Of Sawan, Devotees From Many Places Come To Pray For Happiness And Prosperity By Anointing The Lord. They Fulfill Their Wishes By Performing Jalabhishek, Dugdhabhishek And Rudrabhishek. It Is Believed That The Mere Darshan Of Lord Vishwanath Removes All Kinds Of Sorrows. According To The Archaeological Importance, This Temple Of Lord Vishwanath Is Made Of Bricks During The Time Of Kings And Emperors.
The Relic Was Found At The Same Place Where Lord Shivalinga Is Installed. Balmukund Agrawal, The Server Of The Temple, Says That The Remains Of This 400-Year-Old Temple In The Sita Garden Of Arang Are Witnesses Of Antiquity. Once Upon A Time, Sages And Saints Used To Come To This Place And Perform Tantra-Mantra. This Place Was The Focal Point Of Attaining Siddhi. Three Sadhus Took Samadhi In The Temple Here 345 Years Ago. In A Cave-Like Room Near The Sanctum Sanctorum, The Flame Still Burns Day And Night There. One Samadhi Is In The Garden And The Other Samadhi Is On The Bank Of The Pond.
In The Sanctum Sanctorum Of The Temple, Lord Shiva And Parvati Are Seated Along With Bhairav, An Incarnation Of Rudra. A Beautiful Idol Of Ganesh Ji Is Seen On Top Of Shivling Entering The Temple.
In Front Of The Sanctum Sanctorum Of Lord Vishwanath, In Front Of The Sanctum Sanctorum Of The Well, The Ashes Are Anointed And Worshiped With Ashes Once A Year On The Special Day Of Vishwanath.
Visitors and devotees can see many statues of holy deities like LORD BRAHMA, LORD SHIVA, LORD VISHNU AND MAA DURGA.
Devotees used to come to pray to Lord Ram, Maa Sita ,Laxmanji and Hanumanji also.
Apart from structural beauty the Temple has got a literally Shining environment with neat-clean conditions and hygiene protocols.

- Raipur and Visakhapatnam are the nearest major airports, both of which are about 400 kilometers by road from the district headquarter Dantewada. Jagdalpur is the nearest mini airport which has flight connectivity with both Raipur and Visakhapatnam.
- Visakhapatnam is connected by train to the district headquarter Dantewada. Two daily trains are available between Visakhapatnam and Dantewada
- Regular bus services are available between Raipur and Dantewada, Dantewada is also connected to Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam through regular bus services.
