Dedicated to Goddes Maa Tridevi.
The temple is a magnificent sample of art that can be seen in major touristic & historic places of Kathmandu. All the woods used to build the temple are carved with the beautiful design. The place is also suitable for short waiting to the people. The temple is the goddess temple and has other small temples in its surrounding. There is no any entry fee and anyone can visit the place. There’s a canteen inside the temple area, the owner of which maintains the cleanliness of the temple premises. A lot of pigeons can be seen flying and landing there.
The Tridevi (English: three goddesses; Sanskrit: त्रिदेवी, tridevī) is a concept in Hinduism joining a triad of eminent goddesses either as a feminine version of the Trimurti or as consorts of a masculine Trimurti, depending on the denomination. This triad is typically personified by the Hindu goddesses Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Parvati. In Shaktism, these triune goddesses are the manifestations of Mula-Prakriti or Adi Parashakti.
Teidevi temple is situated the entrance of busy streets of thamel. Tri Devi means three goddess according to hindu religion. There is thee temples of goddess inside the temple premises. Quiet place to find peace and rest.

Modes of Travel
- The best way to reach The temple from India is by catching a flight to Kathmandu, and then taking a prepaid taxi or a local one to the temple. Besides that, if you want to know how to reach Temple via other transport mediums…
- One can also reach there by and train while taking a one-stop route. Located at a distance of around 10km to the outsite of Kathmandu city in its eastern part on the banks of the Bagmati River, this temple can also be visited via bus from Indian cities like Gorakhpur or Varanasi, which are located close to the Nepalese border, Sunauli. It takes around 20 hours by bus to complete the journey. Apart from that,
- One can also take the train route, though it is not quite feasible. As there is no direct train to reach Kathmandu from India, one can choose to travel to Janakpur in Nepal from Jainagar in India. Once in Kathmandu city, it is only a six hours taxi drive to the entrance of Temple.
