Introduction and History
The Someshwar Temple also known as Someshwar Temple Sirvoi , Quepem Goa
is dedicated to Lord shiva and Maa Parvati situated in Goa and the holy place of Sirvoi Quepem.
Shiva The Auspicious One’ also known as Mahadeva ( ’The Great God’),is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the Supreme Being in Shaivism, one of the major traditions within Hinduism.
Any one can be easily attract towards the beautiful Shiva Linga sitauated in the Shiva Premises in temple.
Hence. The Shiva Linga and modern architecture is the main attraction of the shrine.
Shiva has pre-Vedic tribal roots,and the figure of Shiva as we know him today is an amalgamation of various older non-Vedic and Vedic deities, including the Rigvedic storm god Rudra who may also have non-Vedic original into a single major deity.

Visitors can see other deities Statues here like Lord Brahma, Lord Visy, Lord Ganesha, Lord Ram – Maa Siya, Shera wali Maa, Durga Maa and Krishna ji also.

By air:
If you are coming to Goa by airways then the nearest international airport is located at Dabolim. Dabolim main airport is situated at a distance of almost 29 kilometers away from Panaji.
