Introduction and History in Brief
The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu situated near Muktinath,Jomsom Nepal.
There are so many Shalingrams which prayed as lord Vishnu here.
Shaligram or Shila is a fossilized seashell stone which is worshiped as a symbol of god Vishnu worldwide in mostly all Vaisnava Sampradaya (culture) as well as in hindu devotees home. These are usually collected from the banks of Gandaki River in Nepal, espacially at Muktinath. Shaligrams can be identified according to specific representation mentioned in religious scripts. There are different characters and chakra with form of lord vishnu that symbolizes different saligrams. They are typically in the form of spherical, black coloured Ammonoid fossils with chakra or without it or might content golden colors.
The temple is famous for the holy kund situated in the temple itself where devotees comes to bath for having blessing of Lord Vishnu.
As a Temple concern, The morning and evening Prayers time of Tuesday and Saturday are the moments when the temple is always full of devotees.
Visitors and devotees can see many statues of holy deities like LORD BRAHMA, LORD SHIVA, LORD VISHNU AND MAA DURGA.
Devotees used to come to pray to Lord Ram, Maa Sita ,Laxmanji and Hanumanji also.
Apart from structural beauty the Temple has got a literally Shining environment with neat-clean conditions and hygiene protocols.

Modes of Travel
By Air:
Jomson has daily flight connections with Pokhara although cloud cover at Pokhara or Jomson and high winds particuarly at Jomson might cause delays or cancelations. Airlines covering the area include: Nepal Airlines, Yetti Airlines, Tara Airlines and Agni Air. In 2013 ticket prices were 80-90$ to Pokhara. Flights are departing in early morning as it is usually best weather.
By Road:
Daily bus services operated from Jomsom to Pokhara with option to get out/in anyway on the route. Bus station is located on the southwest part of the New Jomsom.
