The temple is dedicated to Bhagwan Krishna.
he Temple was built on the 3rd day of the bright half of Falgun Samvat 1907 ( 1851 A.D.), Maharaja Ratan Singh Ji got the temple constructed and the remaining was got accomplished by his successor son Maharata Surat Singh.In the former state Bikaner, temple of Shri Krishna or Shri Vishnu were rare and there was dearth of them felt by all. The queen of Maharaja Ratan Singh Ji was of shekhawt family. This Raj Kanwar Shekhawat Ji insipired her husband to construct a Krishna temple as, she was a devotee of Lord Krishna. An inspired Maharaja Ratan Singh got the temple of Ratan Bihari Ji and Rasik Shiromani Ji constructed.
Idols of lord Krishna, Rukmani Ji and Radha Ji are enshrined. They are black and brown stone.
This Temple belongs to Pushtimagi ji sect of Shri Balabhacharya Ji.

The Temple stands in the heart of the city and extends over a large area. The whole campus and precincts of the temple are walled in. A vast garden in front of the temple is an added attraction. At the back of the garden is a spacious plain used for organizing religious functions and discourses. Through out the year tourists from far and wide and also from foreign countries come to the temple for seeing the deity, the temple architecture and grandeur of execution of architectural work.
The Temple is 150 Years old and is visited by millions of visitors. Devasthan vibhag has spent 14-15 lac rupees in the past years to repair and renovate the temple. Tourism department should make use of the potential the temple offers.

Architecture
The all-alluring architecture of the temple is praise worthy. The construction of the main gate is in marble. The rounded Shikhar is highly artistic. On gates and attics as also brackets are en carved works in marble. All pillars in the mandapam are artistically chiselled and polished and they have kalasha, Coconut and leaves of fonesia asoka are meticulously engraved on these marbel pillars. A big chowk exists in each temple and above are the latticed windows. The temple dose not have the traditional shikhar.
There are eight seats of Ballabhacharya’s pushtimargi seats in Rajasthan. One of the seats was at Ratan Bihari ji and Rasika Shiromani ji temple, formerly the temple was made the Pancham Peetha of Kama ( Kamavana ), The temple followed the tradition of the Ballabha sect. In due course the mahatmas left Bikaner in the state times and settled at Kama. Now the temples belong to Devsthan Vibhag of the government of Rajasthan. The temple has played a great role in promoting the pushtimargi cult of devotion to Lord Krishna in accordance with the tenets laid down by Acharya Ballabhacharya ji.
The temple is situated on legal site taking by Govt,(ASI) & Mandir Community, there is no legal obligation on Temple Property or Temple Schedule, Criteria,Rules etc..

Jodhpur Airport is the nearest airport to Bikaner, located around 251 km away from the city. From the airport, you can board a bus or hire a taxi to reach Bikaner.
