Introduction and History in Brief
Paritala Anjaneya Temple is a temple residing a statue of Bhagavan Hanuman.
In Vijayawada exists one of the tallest statues of Lord Hanuman. Located at Paritala Anjaneya Temple, this towering figure of Lord Anjaneya is the tallest in the world. It is situated in the village of Paritala on NH-9, about 30 km from Vijayawada, in Andhra Pradesh. Installed in the year 2003, this impressive statue is 135 feet (41 metres) long. In fact, its length surpasses that of Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro city which is 38 metres tall. This temple is located about 30 KM from Vijaywada on the Hyderabad high way. The temple has a shrine of Ram—Sita-Lakshman, the Devi and Lord Anjaneya.
Visitors and devotees can see many statues of holy deities like LORD BRAHMA, LORD SHIVA ,LORD VISHNU AND MAA DURGA.
Devotees use to come pray to Lord Ram Maa Sita ,Laxmanji and Hanumanji also.
Although,Temple is small and placed on the road as it is so beautiful and clean.

The status of this statue being the second tallest one dedicated to Bhagavan Hanuman in the world has been replaced by another statue located at Manav Bharti University, Solan, with a height of 155 ft and 2 inches. The current record is held by the statue in Madapam, Srikakulam district on the banks of the river Vamsadhara in North Andhra (171 ft). It has also been awarded by the Limca Book of Records. The temple is located in the village of Paritala on NH-65, approximately 30 km from the city of Vijayawada, in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The statue was installed in the year 2003 and stands 135 feet (41 metres) tall.The tallest Lord Hanuman statue outside India is at Carapichaima, Trinidad and Tobago, which is 85 ft tall.

Modes of Travel
The city houses Vijayawada Airport located on NH-5, which is connected to Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Kadapa Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and most airliners are serviceable here such as Air India, TruJet, Jet Airways, Jet Connect, SpiceJet and Air Costa. Plans for its expansion have been put forward which will enable the airport to take in larger aircrafts with night landing facilities.
Nearest Airport: The nearest airport is Vijayawada Airport located 18 km away.
There are three national highways, the NH-5 or NH-16, the NH-9 or NH-65 and the NH-221 or NH-30 which connect it to other parts of the country. The Pandit Nehru Bus Station has state-run APSRTC buses with more than 450 city buses which include Metro Express, Ordinary and City Sheetal offering various types of facilities like A/C, etc. Private buses for interstate buses have deluxe, ultra-deluxe, A/C and Volvo buses.
Vijayawada has the second biggest railway junction in India, making it an important connectivity hub for South India’s railway network. It has train connectivity to every city in the south and also to all major Indian cities and towns and is situated along the Howrah-Chennai main line and Delhi–Chennai line. Vijayawada also has eight other railway stations catering to the enormous rail traffic. Shatabdi Express, Bangalore Mail, Guwahati Express, Chennai Express, Coromandal Express, Jaipur Express, etc. stop here.
