Introduction and History in brief

The great architecturual and beautiful-ness shrine is dedicated to lord Shiva.

The  Langamara Temple Guhati, Temple is an important Shiva temple in the state of Assam in India. The old temple belong to back time of before partition where devotees and visitors comes to pray Lord Shiva, Maa Durga and Hanumanji specially on Tuesday and Saturday.we’ll maintained temple in the city and also the most frequented. The Siya Ram, Laxman and Shiva Linga at this temple is believed to be a Swayambhu (self-manifested), making it a popular attraction among the regular devotees and visitors.The temple is covered with greenery, plantations and rocks etc..

 Apart from the structural beauty, there are murthis or parikramas for Ram Siya,Hanumanji , Vishnu Ji, Radha Krishna and Goddess Durga at the temple. Being a predominantly shiv Temple, the  Temple is flocked by hundreds of devotees on occasions like Ramnavami, Hanuman Jayanti, Mahashivratri and Purnima. There are some shops and stalls relating to toys, spiritual contexts like murthis, parshads , malas,diyaas and flowers for praying.

People also come here to pray Nandi as they believe that the wish will hear by Lord Shiva directly if the will tell Nandi.

Pay the last pray of the day in evening after Presiding God Bhauj.

By Air:

Guwahati Airport, or Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, situated 25 km away from the main city, links the destination with all prime Indian cities. Regular flight options are available by carriers such as GoAir, Air India, AirAsia India, and Jet Airways for cities such as Kolkata, Bagdogra, Imphal, Delhi, Bangalore, Agartala and Mumbai, among others. Travellers can avail bus or prepaid taxi services to reach desired destination in Guwahati.

By road:

The city of Guwahati is well linked with several adjoining cities and towns via number of Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) and other private buses. Depending upon their requirement, travellers can choose from Volvo, deluxe, air conditioned or luxury buses. Several major national highways meet at Guwahati so one can easily drive from Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, West Bengal and Nagaland.

By rail:

Guwahati Railway Station, which is just 5 km away from the city centre, is one of the prime railheads in Assam. The station is well connected to all major Indian cities via broad rail network. Rajdhani Express, a premium train, takes about 34 hours to reach Guwahati from New Delhi. From outside the station, travellers can hire a cab or take a bus to reach Guwahati.

The temple is located on the Mathgharia locality of Langamara Path, Shanti Nagar, Odalbakra Guwahati city. The one visistors can have taxi, Autorickshaws and buss from all the above stations travel option mentioned above.its been 19-38km far from the above travel stations.

The temple is situated on totally legal site taking care by Mandir Commite , there is no legal obligation on Temple Property or Temple Schedule, Criteria, Adequates etc..

Goshalas, Sadhus, Sants, Mahants, Famous Dharmik Writers/ Musicians/Dancers/ Craftsmen around the Temple.

A small Goshala and Animal Center is taking care under the temple as devotees and donaters use to fulfill all the responsibilties.

Anyone can come and see the Goshala And Langer sewa Center of the temple.

There is a temple group of some devotees who use to role as band of temple as they do kirtans, Kathas and Narrating sewas time to time.
