Introduction and History in Brief

 Bhubaneswar Langaleswara (Mangaleswara) Temple Located north of Papanasini Temple Complex and on the north bank of Papanasini Tank, Mangaleswara Temple dates to the Ganga period and was built sometime in the 14th century A.D. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is now some 1.5m below the current road level so is quite well hidden from view. The eastern perimeter wall of the Papanasini Temple Complex, going north and ending up at Rath Road. Along this path not far from the main road the complex wall abruptly reaches the remains of an ancient temple that projects further forward (and so pre-dates the current complex wall). There’s some wonderful carvings to be seen on what remains on the exterior of this temple. The ruined temple has a modern annex that fronts Rath Road, so it is essentially still a living temple.

The temple is a beautiful sacred place decorated with gorgeous idols of deities, which leave the devotees spellbound. As the temple is built along the roadside, it attracts a number of devotees on a daily basis. Visiting the place one could feel a sacred haven, a tranquil space that help one to get relief from the hustle of the fast city.

As Temple concern, Monday is the day known as the crowded day. Temple use to full of devotees particularly in the Morning and evening during Aarti and Maa Gayatri Paath.

Visitors and devotees can see many statues of holy deities like LORD BRAHMA, LORD SHIVA LORD VISHNU AND MAA DURGA.

Devotees use to come pray to Lord Ram Maa Sita ,Laxmanji and Hanumanji also.

Although,Temple is small and placed on the road as it is so beautiful and clean.

Temple people use to follow all covid 19 protocols . Temple is surrounded by Lots of Trees and fresh air as far as environment concern.
