Introduction and History in Brief
The small, ancient and beautiful shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The temple is located in Warangal District, Telangana, India.
Their far-sighted work done for public welfare and social uplift are still visible in these monuments as they built numerous artificial lakes, and also developed ports for trade and commerce. They built grand temples to promote moral values and Shiva devotion, which are visible examples of exquisite architecture and sculpture art.
Sri Kashi Vishweshwara and Sri Ranganatha temples are located in Kashi Bugga area in Warangal urban district. Very ancient temple dated back to Kakatiya dynasty. Very powerful and peaceful temples in this area. It’s around 2 Kms from Warangal Bus station and railway station. Auto facility is there to reach the temple. Other temple’s near to this one are 1000 piler temple, Bhadrakali temple and Padmakshi devi temple in Hanumakonda. Fort Warangal is around 5 Kms from this temple.
Archaeological Survey of India have not provided the archaeological details at sight. But it seems to be built between 1950 to 1970 during the reign of British and patron of arts and Architecture as Rudresvara temple is one of the grand temples credited to him.
Visitors may enjoy the breathtaking views of the complete surroundings. It’s a major attraction among the history buffs wanderers soulseekers heritage art and architecture lovers.
