Manyata/Special Attraction
According to legends Lord Shiva took rest here while he was going to marry his first wife Sati. Unlike the other temple this temple is very quite as not much people visit here. The temple is surrounded by Rajaji National Park on 3 sides.
You must check your footwear at the shoe-racks by the entrance or with the flower vendors nearby. Photography is permitted.

Modes of Travel
- The temple is located 2 km from Neelanth-Rishikesh Highway. It can be reached by local Veerbhadra railway station on the highway which is 2 km away from the temple. Nearby villages are Meera Nagar and Tehri Vishtapit. Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun is 25 km away.
- By Air- Rishikesh is 45 mins from Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport; alternatively, a 6-hour drive from Delhi.
- By Train- The nearest railhead to Rishikesh is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometres away. Haridwar, in turn, is linked to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow and Varanasi. Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express and Mussoorie Express
- By Road- Nearest Bus stand is Rishikesh Bus stand which is only 7-12 km away from Temple.
